Yakuza tier list questions
Is the Yakuza series now called Like a Dragon?
Yes. Sega renamed the franchise to Like a Dragon in the West, and the games from Yakuza: Like a Dragon onward use that name, although the earlier games are still known as Yakuza.
Which game should I start with?
Many fans point to Yakuza 0, which is a prequel to the original game, or Yakuza: Like a Dragon for the new turn-based combat. The list includes both, along with the Judgment spin-offs.
How should I rank Yakuza and Like a Dragon games?
Common criteria include story, side content, combat, protagonists and setting. Many players rank the Kazuma Kiryu games separately from the Ichiban Kasuga turn-based RPGs and the Judgment spin-offs.
