About Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is a tactical role-playing game for the Game Boy Advance, the eighth game in the Fire Emblem series. It follows the twins Eirika and Ephraim of Renais as they respond to an invasion of their homeland on the continent of Magvel.

Its most talked-about design choice is a route split: after the early chapters you pick Eirika's path or Ephraim's path, and the army you field changes. Extra grinding spots such as the Tower of Valni and the Lagdou Ruins also make unit growth a big part of any ranking debate.

What to consider when you rank characters

  • Combat stats and growth rates
  • How well the unit promotes and what class it becomes
  • When the unit joins and how long it stays useful
  • Which route you would normally take them on
  • Personal attachment and support conversations

Fire Emblem Sacred Stones tier list questions

It is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems for the Game Boy Advance. It released in Japan on October 7, 2004 and in North America on May 23, 2005, and it is the eighth Fire Emblem game.

Does the route choice change when characters join?

How should I rank Sacred Stones characters?

Common criteria include stats and growth rates, class, how early a unit joins, and how useful they are on the route you take. Many players also rank by personal favorites, story moments or support conversations.
