We respect copyright. Here is how to report a problem with something on the tier list maker.

Tier List Maker (“we”, “us”) responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This page explains what the tier list maker does and does not host, and how to send a notice.

What the tier list maker hosts

The tier list maker runs in your browser, so most of what people make never reaches our servers. That shapes which claims we can act on.

  • Your tier lists

    They stay in your browser. We never receive or host them.

  • Images you add

    They are resized on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

  • Names and brands

    Game, anime, show and brand names appear only to identify items. No endorsement is implied.

  • Our pages

    Ready-made item lists, text, articles and graphics on this site. This is what most notices concern.

How a takedown works

  1. Send a notice

    Email basit8225@gmail.com with the details below, or use the notice builder on this page.

  2. We review it

    We check that the notice is complete and look at the page you identify.

  3. We act

    If the claim is valid, we remove or change the material and tell you.

  4. Counter-notice

    If the material was removed by mistake, the person responsible for the page can send a counter-notice.

What a takedown notice must include

A notice needs all six items below. An incomplete notice may not be actionable.

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for the owner.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. The exact page URL on this site where the material appears, so we can find it.
  4. Your name, email address and a phone number or postal address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Counter-notices
 
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address with these four items:
 
     
  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where the service provider can be found).

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will pass it to the person who sent the original notice. The material may be restored
      10 to 14 business days later, unless that person tells us first that they have filed a court action.

 
 
 
Good to know
 
     
  • False claims have consequences. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

  • We may share notices. A notice, including your name and contact details, may be forwarded to the person responsible for the material.

  • Repeat problems. If the same rights holder reports the same material again, or material keeps reappearing, we review the page and take further action where appropriate.

  • Names and brands. Trademark concerns about a name on this site can be sent to the same address. Tier List Maker is an independent fan tool, and names are used for identification only.
