  1. Romance Dawn

    The 1st arc of the East Blue Saga, in volume 1 and chapters 1 to 7, released in 1997. Seven-year-old Luffy befriends the Red Hair Pirates and swears to their captain, Shanks, that he will be a pirate.

The One Piece Wiki lists the Egghead Arc as the 32nd story arc of the manga and anime, and the first of the Final Saga. The arcs are grouped into sagas, such as the East Blue Saga and the Summit War Saga.

Which are the longest One Piece arcs?

Wano Country is the longest here, with 149 chapters and 191 anime episodes. Dressrosa follows with 102 chapters, then Whole Cake Island with 78 chapters and Egghead with 68.

How should I rank One Piece arcs?

Common criteria include story, new characters, fights, emotional impact and pacing. Many fans rank by saga, since the East Blue arcs feel quite different from the Marineford and Wano arcs.
