Yuji Itadori
The main protagonist, who lived a normal life in Sendai City until he ate one of Sukuna's fingers. After becoming Sukuna's vessel, he began attending Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Megumi Fushiguro
The deuteragonist, a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and first-year student. He is Tsumiki's stepbrother and Toji Fushiguro's son, which makes him a descendant of the Zenin Clan.

Nobara Kugisaki
The tritagonist, a first-year student and grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High. She studies under Satoru Gojo alongside Yuji and Megumi.

Satoru Gojo
A special grade sorcerer widely recognized as the strongest in the world. He is the first person in four hundred years to inherit both the Limitless and the Six Eyes, and teaches at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Ryomen Sukuna
The main antagonist, history's strongest jujutsu sorcerer in legend, born over a thousand years ago in the Heian Era. In truth, he was an undefeated human sorcerer who felled countless others.

Toge Inumaki
A descendant of the Inumaki Clan who inherited its Cursed Speech. He developed a unique speech pattern to avoid cursing others, and is a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Panda
Despite the name and appearance, Panda is not an actual panda but an Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse created by Masamichi Yaga. Panda attends Jujutsu High as a second-year student.

Yuta Okkotsu
The main protagonist of the prequel, initially a special grade cursed human haunted by his late childhood friend Rika Orimoto. Gojo enrolled him at Tokyo Jujutsu High and trained him.

Suguru Geto
An antagonist in both the series and the prequel. He was originally a student of Masamichi Yaga alongside Gojo and Shoko Ieiri, and developed a deep hatred for non-sorcerers.

Kento Nanami
A former Tokyo Jujutsu High student and underclassman of Gojo and Geto. He left to become a salaryman, but returned four years later as a grade 1 sorcerer.

Aoi Todo
A third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and a grade 1 sorcerer. He was Yuki Tsukumo's student in his youth, is a fan of the idol Nobuko Takada, and is Yuji's self-proclaimed best friend.

Mahito
A major antagonist and unregistered special grade cursed spirit allied with Kenjaku. He leads a group with Jogo, Hanami and Dagon, aiming to eradicate humanity and replace it with cursed spirits.

An unregistered special grade cursed spirit aligned with Mahito, Hanami and Dagon. He believed curses were the true humans and wanted a world where his kind dominated the Earth.

Hanami
An unregistered special grade cursed spirit born from the fear of land-based natural disasters. Hanami wanted to rid the Earth of humanity because of the mistreatment of nature.

Choso
An incarnated Cursed Womb: Death Painting, with brothers Kechizu and Eso. He initially sided with Kenjaku and Mahito, but also shares a half-siblinghood with Yuji Itadori.

Kenjaku
A primary antagonist who existed for over a thousand years as an ancient curse user. His innate technique lets him transplant his brain into other bodies and control them.

Toji Fushiguro
A former member of the Zenin Clan and an infamous assassin, who was the primary antagonist of the Gojo's Past Arc. He is Megumi Fushiguro's father, and a non-curse user.

Naoya Zenin
The youngest son of Naobito Zenin, who believed himself the true heir of the Zenin Clan. He headed the clan's elite unit of jujutsu sorcerers, the Hei.

Yuki Tsukumo
One of only four special grade jujutsu sorcerers, not aligned with Jujutsu High. She disagrees with the higher-ups' methods and works toward a curse-free world in her own way.

Kinji Hakari
A third-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High who was suspended for clashing with authority. While away, he ran the Gachinko Fight Club, a venue for hand-to-hand combat between sorcerers for money.

Kashimo
A jujutsu sorcerer from 400 years ago, now inhabiting a vessel prepared by Kenjaku. He took part in the Culling Game, seeking to find and battle Sukuna.

Hiromi Higuruma
A defense attorney who took on impossibly difficult cases to protect the wrongfully accused. He awakened as a sorcerer in the Culling Game and became one of its top players.

Mei Mei
A grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer who works independently and only in exchange for money. She is the older sister of Ui Ui and a senpai of Gojo and Geto.

Noritoshi Kamo
A third-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High and the former heir to the Kamo Clan. He is tall, with eyes that are normally kept completely shut.

Mai Zenin
A second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High, a member of the Zenin clan and the younger twin sister of Maki Zenin. She looked identical to her sister, but had shorter hair.

A grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and close associate of Kento Nanami, working out of Tokyo Jujutsu High. He wears a signature ski mask rolled up into a beanie-type hat.

Tokyo Jujutsu High's principal and a grade 1 sorcerer, as well as a cursed corpse creator and Panda's father. He was a second-year teacher to Gojo, Geto and Shoko Ieiri.

Does this Jujutsu Kaisen list contain spoilers?
Yes. The write-ups mention antagonists, alliances and parts of the Culling Game and earlier arcs. If you are still watching, you may want to skip entries for characters you have not met yet.
What is the difference between sorcerer grades?
Jujutsu sorcerers are ranked in grades, such as grade 3, grade 2, grade 1 and special grade. Satoru Gojo, for example, is a special grade sorcerer widely recognized as the strongest in the world.
How should I rank Jujutsu Kaisen characters?
Common criteria include power, technique design, character arc and fight scenes. Many fans split their lists between students, adult sorcerers and curses, because those groups play very different roles.
