A finalist in the first season who keeps coming back, including as a judge guest. He later teamed up with Noah as part of The Reality TV Pros, and he is the contestant who complimented Chef's meals.

A goth girl who reached the finals of the first season. She returned as a cast member and team captain, came back for later seasons, and even appeared on the yacht in the first episode of Revenge of the Island.

Duncan
A cast member and finalist. After he originally quit the show he was found and forced to return, then placed on a different team, and he later came back for another season.

She did not qualify for the first half of one season, but a successful lawsuit let her debut in "Ocean's Eight—or Nine." She then became the main antagonist for the second half of the season.

Devon Joseph is best described as a teddy bear. His large size can make him look intimidating, but his true demeanor is the opposite. He competed in the first season and returned later.

Full name Harold Norbert Cheever Doris McGrady V. A skinny, awkward-looking competitor who takes immense pride in his numerous "mad skills" and is very confident in his own knowledge.

A cheerful, confident camper with large generosity who is thoughtful to those who treat her with respect. She treats everyone how she wants to be treated, and returned as a cast member in the second season.

A first-season camper who is very competitive and physically strong, but often overly violent and aggressive. She did not compete in Action or World Tour, but appears as a commentator on the Aftermath.

A first-season camper who skipped the second season, then competed in World Tour. After being eliminated he became a stowaway aboard the Total Drama Jumbo Jet and cameoed around the plane.

Raised on a farm with only animal friends and her parents for company. She was a finalist in her second season, but she was an Aftermath commentator when the next season came around.

Alejandro Burromuerto was a main antagonist and finalist who debuted in World Tour. He appears polite and dashing on the surface, and later returned as the robot assisting Chris and then as a camper.

An enormously competitive and strategic camper with a harsh personality that is difficult to break through. She believes she is the strongest competitor and most deserving of the million-dollar prize.

A country boy who loves to scheme, nicknamed "Scheming Scott" by Chris. He is the main antagonist of his debut season, and as a childhood memory he names causing an argument between his parents.

A mysterious nature lover who wants to use the prize money to help Mother Earth. She can communicate with animals, meditates often, reads tea leaves, and is able to read people's auras.

Cameron Corduroy Wilkins is exceptionally smart but physically one of the weakest, because his overprotective mother kept him in a bubble all his life. He was a finalist and shares similarities with Cody.

An army kid who enforces the "never leave a cadet behind" code as if his life depends on it. He respects his superiors, saluting them and even complimenting Chef's meals.

One of the most fame-hungry contestants, and the daughter of a very wealthy man. She was eliminated in "Truth or Laser Shark," but her father got her back as an intern, and she later returned as a contestant.

A vain, rude and somewhat aggressive girl who is all about the looks. She admits she will back out of a challenge if it means sacrificing her appearance, and she is obsessed with hairspray and spray tan.

Little is known about Staci because of her limited time on the show. She constantly exaggerates stories about her family, which makes it hard to tell fact from fiction in her background.
