Soccer tier list questions
Why does the list say 2026/27?
It follows the current Premier League season. Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City were promoted for 2026–27, replacing West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were relegated.
Why are trophy counts mostly left out?
League titles and cups change every season and go stale, so the write-ups stick to founding history, grounds and nicknames. Current totals are easy to check on each club's official site.
How should I rank Premier League clubs?
Common criteria include history, stadium and atmosphere, badge and kit, current squad and your own loyalty. Many fans rank clubs in tiers by how they feel about each club's fans and rivalries.
