Mighty Morphin
The original series from Saban Entertainment, airing on Fox Kids from August 28, 1993, to November 27, 1995, across three seasons. It drew elements and stock footage from the Japanese series Super Sentai.

Zeo
The fourth Power Rangers entry, based on the 19th Super Sentai series Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. It aired in 1996 as the direct sequel to the Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers miniseries.

Turbo
The fifth entry in the franchise, aired in 1997 after the second Power Rangers film, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, set the stage. Like its predecessors, it is based on a Super Sentai series.

The sixth entry, based on Denji Sentai Megaranger. It was a turning point for the franchise, bringing closure to six seasons of plot.

Lost Galaxy
A tokusatsu series based on the 22nd Super Sentai series Seijuu Sentai Gingaman. It was the first season to follow the Sentai tradition of a brand-new cast with each new series.

Lightspeed Rescue
Based on the 23rd Super Sentai series Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive. It introduced, for the first time, a Power Ranger with no Super Sentai counterpart, the Titanium Ranger.

Time Force
The ninth entry, based on Mirai Sentai Timeranger and running 40 half-hour episodes from February to November 2001. It was the last season distributed by Saban Entertainment.

Wild Force
The tenth entry and the franchise's 10th anniversary season, based on Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, which itself marked the 25th anniversary of Super Sentai.

Ninja Storm
The eleventh entry, based on the 26th Super Sentai series Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger. The season marked a series of firsts for the franchise, including being the first filmed in New Zealand.

Dino Thunder
Based on Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger, the 27th entry in Toei Company's long-running Super Sentai franchise. Dino Thunder was also the subtitle of the Korean dub of that Sentai series.

S.P.D.
Based on the 28th Super Sentai series Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. The initials stand for "Space Patrol Delta," whereas in Dekaranger they stood for Special Police Dekaranger.

Mystic Force
The thirteenth entry, based on the 29th Super Sentai series Mahō Sentai Magiranger. It premiered on February 20, 2006, as part of the Jetix block on Toon Disney.

Operation Overdrive
The fourteenth entry, using footage from the 30th Super Sentai series GoGo Sentai Boukenger, which celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of that franchise.

Jungle Fury
The fifteenth entry, an adaptation of Juken Sentai Gekiranger, the thirty-first Super Sentai series. It premiered on February 18, 2008, as part of Jetix on Toon Disney.

R.P.M.
The sixteenth entry, adapting Engine Sentai Go-onger, the thirty-second Super Sentai series. It was the eighth and final season to air on ABC stations.

Samurai
The seventeenth entry, and the first season produced by Saban Brands after it acquired the franchise from The Walt Disney Company.

Super Samurai
The second season of Power Rangers Samurai, so it continues the first Saban Brands era of the franchise after the acquisition from The Walt Disney Company.

The eighteenth entry, produced by Saban Brands and first aired on Nickelodeon on February 2, 2013, as part of the Power Rangers 20th anniversary.

The twenty-second entry. The first season aired on Nickelodeon from February 20, 2021, to December 18, 2021, and the second season premiered on Netflix on March 3, 2022.

Cosmic Fury
The twenty-third entry, announced on August 28, 2022, and premiered on Netflix on September 29, 2023. It uses some footage from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, with new suits that have modified helmets.

What is Super Sentai?
Super Sentai is the long-running Japanese tokusatsu franchise from Toei Company that Power Rangers adapts. Most seasons are based on one Sentai series, using its footage, costumes and props together with new American scenes.
How should I rank Power Rangers seasons?
Common criteria include story, the cast, villains, suit and Zord designs, and nostalgia. Many fans compare the Saban Entertainment era, the Disney years and the later Nickelodeon and Netflix seasons separately.
