Oreos tier list questions
When was the Oreo first introduced?
Nabisco introduced Oreo in 1912, and Mondelez International has owned the brand since acquiring Nabisco in 2012. Oreo imitated the Hydrox cookie from 1908, but outsold it by so much that many people believe the reverse.
Are all of these Oreo flavors still sold?
No. Many of them were limited editions, including Birthday Cake, Cinnamon Bun and Brookie-O, though some, like Dark Chocolate, became permanent. Some limited flavors return later, so check what your local store currently stocks.
How should I rank Oreo flavors?
Common criteria include cookie flavor, filling flavor, texture, the cookie-to-creme ratio and novelty. Many fans split their tier lists between permanent flavors and limited editions, because the second group is hard to buy.
