Candy tier list questions

Which candies on this list are chocolate bars?

Snickers, Twix, Kit Kat, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Butterfinger and the Hershey's bar are the classic bar-style picks here. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and M&M's are also chocolate, but in cups and shells.

Are Milky Way and 3 Musketeers the same candy?

Not exactly. The American Milky Way has nougat and caramel, while 3 Musketeers has whipped nougat in chocolate without the caramel. The global Milky Way bar outside the United States is similar to 3 Musketeers.

How should I rank candy?

Flavor, texture, how well it holds up as a snack and nostalgia are the usual criteria. Many people split their candy tier lists into chocolate and fruity or sour categories, since those tastes are hard to compare directly.
